    Awesome! At a glance, they don’t appear that hard to build. That is, until you start gathering and cutting the material, anyway. I like the idea of building a natural shelter above my poncho lean-to, or tent. It serves as an initial break for hail, wind or torrential downpours. It also helps camouflage your position. I carry a machete with saw back on my rucksack and affixed to the outside of a survival kit (Get Home Bag) made from a Ruger 10/22 Takedown case.
